Invoking the life’s work of Polish Renaissance astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, aptly named ready-to-wear and accessories brand Coperni applies his Heliocentric tendencies into its out-of-this-world designs. Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant have been developing their unique creative language since 2013, resulting in collection upon collection that showcases origami-like techniques, romantic embroidery and ‘sportif’ silhouettes. Having shut down Paris Fashion Week with that Bella Hadid spray-on dress moment, Coperni has had its own renaissance of sorts, with bolder cuts and covetable shapes.
