This 9K gold Alighieri II Leone medallion necklace has been crafted with 9K gold plated brass. Crafted from an antique Venetian coin, this piece has an adjustable chain, lobster clasp fastening and has been recovered and restored with Alighieri wax. The scene depicted on the coin is of Dante confronted by a lion. It is the point in the narrative when Dante nearly turns around from his journey but Virgil counsels him. Your Alighieri necklace will remind you to always take courage in your convictions, especially when it comes to your jewellery.
