These black Saint Laurent Cassandra leather sandals are made in Italy. They feature a square toe, adjustable buckle fastening, T-bar strap with a logo plaque, gold tone hardware and branding on the insole. In Greek mythology Cassandra was said to have spent the night in the sanctuary of the Thymbraean Apollo as a child. There, serpents purified her ears so as to render her capable of understanding the divine sounds of nature and the voices of birds.
